Dublin's Own Irish Whiskey is more than just a whiskey - it's a piece of Irish whiskey history. With roots stretching back to the 19th century to the original Dublin Whiskey Distillery Co (D.W.D), this bottling celebrates the return of a brand steeped in tradition. The new chapter combines over 150 years of distilling experience with modern craftsmanship and a clear goal: to bring the true taste of Dublin to life in a new way.
The blend consists of grain and malt whiskeys, which are matured for 3 to 6 years in selected bourbon casks. Cold-filtered and bottled at 40% vol., the result is a pleasantly round whiskey with notes of caramel, vanilla, toffee and light spice.
The result is an honest, accessible Irish whiskey that has been "tasted, tested, talked about, pondered over, measured, distilled, loved and crafted" with a great deal of passion - according to the makers themselves.
Serving suggestion
Dublin's Own unfolds its strengths particularly pure or on ice - smooth, balanced and with a pleasantly sweet character. It also cuts an excellent figure in Irish coffee or as a stylish souvenir from Dublin.
