Madre Tequila is an additive-free tequila blanco, made in the spirit of what was once called ‘Vino de Mezcal de Tequila’. Drawing on lessons learned from making Madre Mezcal, Madre Tequila is produced in the goal of emphasizing the natural agave flavor within the spirit.
In addition to careful craft, the conditions of the land provide Madre Tequila its natural flavors. The agaves used are harvested from a single estate, located at some of the highest elevations in Jalisco, 7,500 feet above sea level, rough conditions, that result in the complexity and sweetness high quality tequilas are recognized for.
